PYP IB year 1 admission for 2020-2021 school year (15/06/20)

Admission to PYP form 1 will be based on the assessment of learning readiness and need for study support, and language level of students with the Estonian citizenship.
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) in Tallinn English College (TEC) is primarily meant for the children of foreign diplomatic missions and consular posts and international organizations’ staff, specialists contractually working in Estonia. Likewise, children of Estonian nationals whose parent is in a diplomatic post and/or who have been studying abroad at an IB school or international school because one of their parents was or is employed, according to a written statement, in a foreign country, will be included in the TEC IB PYP Form 1 study group.

The language of instruction in the IB PYP is English based on CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) methodology. Further information on IB PYP at www.ibo.org/pyp

Registration begins on January 10 at 4PM at algus.tik.edu.ee
Registration ends June 07 at 4PM.
The admission will take place on June 15, 2020 according to the timeslot the applicant's parent has chosen.
