TIKi õpilasesinduse seisukoht seoses õpetajate palgakriisiga

Tallinna Inglise Kolledži õpilasesindus on täna (09.11.2023) erakorralise hääletusega heaks kiitnud otsuse toetada nii meie kui ka teiste koolide õpetajaid, nende püüdluses võrdse ja väärika palga saamises. Õpilaste esindajatena on üks meie peahuvidest õpilaste ning nende hariduse eest seismine, sest haridus ja selle tase on iga õpilase prioriteet koolimajas. Haridus aga põhineb suuresti õpetajatel, nende teadmistel, oskustel ning motivatsioonitasemel. Seega leiame meie, et niigi alavääristatud ja rasket tööd tuleks vähemalt võrdse palgaga tasuda, võrreldes seda teiste magistrikraadi nõudvate ametikohtadega. Tallinna Inglise Kolledži õpilasesindus toetab õpetajaid ning nende huve, nii nagu nad meie omi kordades kaitsnud on.

Tallinn English College Student Council’s stance on the teacher’s pay crisis

The Tallinn English College’s Student Council has decided today (09.11.2023) with an urgent vote to support our and other teachers in their aspiration for equal and dignified pay. As representatives of students, it is one of our main interests to protect and stand for students and their education because every student’s main priority is their education. Education itself depends greatly on teachers, their knowledge, skills and level of motivation. Therefore, we believe that teachers’ jobs, which are already very difficult and discredited, should be equally paid compared to other occupations requiring a Master’s degree. The Tallinn English College’s Student Council supports all teachers and their interests, in the same way they have protected ours countless times before.
