21. septembril kl 18:00 kutsume vaatama legendaarset dokumentaalfilmi Dogtown and Z-Boys Stacy Peraltalt ja Agi Orsilt (2001, 91 minutit) Filmi juhatab sisse saatkonna pressi ja kultuuri aseatašee William O’Connor. Film on inglise keeles inglisekeelsete subtiitritega. Sissejuhatus on eesti keeles.

Dogtown and Z-Boys (2001) on dokumentaalfilm rulasõidust, selle tekkimisest ja kujunemisest. Film on võitnud arvukalt auhindu erinevatel festivalidel. Kasutades erinevaid ülesvõtteid 70ndatest ning hilisemaid intervjuusid räägib film loo grupi teismeliste mõjust surfi- ja rulakultuurile. Oluline osa kasutatud arhiivivõtetest on tehtud teismeliste endi poolt, kes tahtsid kuuluda Z-Boys’i gruppi, kuid polnud selleks piisavalt andekad rulatajad, seetõttu piirdusid filmimise ja pildistamisega. Dogtown and Z-Boys (2001) is a documentary about the history of skateboarding. It won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Documentary Feature and several more. Using a mix of film the Zephyr skateboard team shot in the 1970s by Craig Stecyk and more recent interviews, the documentary tells the story of a group of teenage surfer/skateboarders and their influence on the history of skateboarding (and to a lesser extent surfing) culture. It is narrated by Sean Penn and directed by Stacy Peralta. Much of the archival footage used in the film came from teenagers who wanted to be a part of the Z-Boys group but were not good enough skateboarders so they got to be a part of the Z-Boys group by filming and photographing them.

22. oktoobril näitame filmi nimega Paris is Burning (1990, Jennie Livingstone, 78 minutit). Paris Is Burning is a 1990 documentary film directed by Jennie Livingston. Filmed in the mid-to-late 1980s, it chronicles the ball culture of New York City and the African American, Latino gay and transgender community involved in it. Many consider Paris Is Burning to be an invaluable documentary of the end of the "Golden Age" of New York City drag balls, as well as a thoughtful exploration of race, class, and gender in America. The film explores the elaborately-structured Ball competitions in which contestants, adhering to a very specific category or theme, must "walk" (much like a fashion model's runway) and subsequently be judged on criteria including the "realness" of their drag, the beauty of their clothing and their dancing ability.
